While microalgae don’t actually look this magical under a microscope, we see that they do have an incredible ability to revolutionize the way we do many things. Using their photosynthetic nature we can harness these micro organisms as cellular factories to produce any natural products*. They require only food and light, as well as carbon dioxide (thank goodness) in order to run and because of this, we can set them to work with only minimal oversight.
